AMI ASSISTANTS TO INFANCY DIPLOMA PROGAM

Birth to 3 Years

Engage in an in-depth study of Montessori pedagogy and current medical and psychological approaches to child development from birth to three years. Our program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children.

During this training, you will observe children from birth to three at home and in group settings and complete one week of student teaching with children either in a Nido or Infant Community.

With the successful passing of comprehensive oral and written examinations, the course culminates in graduation and the awarding of the coveted 0-3 AMI diploma. A to I students are prepared to work with parents perinatally, to assist with the infant at birth, to prepare beautiful and responsive environments, and to work in infant and toddler communities in schools, day care settings, hospitals and wherever children under the age of three are found.

This course is offered in a blended format with online and in-person learning opportunities.
