What are Learners’ Circles?

MTCSTL Learners’ Circles provide opportunities for Montessori educators in the St. Louis area to engage with discourse and collaboration around interest-topics identified and facilitated by the group.

Discussions are hosted and led in rotation at sites across the region, with each Learners’ Circle exploring a unique theme centered around a guest speaker, an article or book passage, or a key question.

In our circles, educators come together in a positive, accepting environment to share knowledge, exchange ideas, offer and receive support. Whether you're a seasoned Montessori practitioner or just beginning your journey, our circle welcomes all who are passionate about fostering holistic development and lifelong learning in children.

What do Learners’ Circles have to offer?

Collaborative discussions and brainstorming sessions on Montessori best practices

  • Resource sharing, including materials and approaches

  • Opportunities for professional development and growth through workshops and guest speakers

  • Peer support and encouragement to overcome challenges and celebrate successes

  • A place within a St. Louis regional network of like-minded educators committed to creating nurturing and empowering Montessori environments

Attending a Learners’ Circle is not just about expanding your professional network—it's about being part of a community dedicated to the transformative power of Montessori education. Together, we inspire, support, and learn from one another and, ultimately, grow our personal and collective impact on the lives of the children we serve.
